Frozen Paint option Cost?
as soon as my lease is up on my mini ill be ordering a f32 coupe with m-sport package. I have fallen in love with the frozen colors BMW is offering and would love to order my coupe next fall in the frozen blue
![]() I cant find anywhere how much BMW is charging for the frozen color options. Audi charges a substantial 5500 bucks to choose a color other then standard, what is BMW charging for this option? i see anywhere between $1300 and $8600 TIA

Best way to find out would be to call your dealer.

ive read numerous threads about the frozen colors and maintenance. Its not a matte finsh, more of a matte metallic clear coat. it can be polished and maintained the same way regular clear can, you just have to use an opaque wax. That way it doesn't ad shine to the finish.
everyone that has it seems to love it and actually say its easier to maintain then regular clear and sense its a clear coat finish you dont have to worry about it like you would a matte finish car. ill give the dealer a call a see what they say.

Separately, the f32 isnt coming out any time soon afaik. You would need to order an individual car to get this color if they will even allow it.

Exactly, this is your biggest obstacle, even if the F32 is available by then, it's very unlikely that Individual or custom orders will be available by that point. I'd say it's even unlikely that an Individual or custom F30 will be available by then.

and for any frozen owners looking. here is a full opaque wash/wax kit. there is also a few posts on here about how simpe it is to take care of. Its not my daily driver, it will sit in the garage most of the time as im always out working in my work van. This is basically for hot dates, parties and track days, also for errands. It will be used just as my mini is used now; for fun http://www.swissvax.us/merchant.mvc?...ode=MATT-PAINT

Go ///M or go home

Individual paint is $5000, IIRC. Wrapping is usually cheaper. I've heard around $3000 for wraps

Honestly I would wrap it since maintenance seems to be very difficult unless it is a weekend car... As king said, contact your dealer.
