Water Leak on rear driver side door ?

Hi

I am getting a water ingress on the passenger rear door. The water tracks to the inside plastic trim next to the rear seat bench then onto the floor. Any ideas ? Are the seals poor, do they degrade ?

Cheers

Ian

Door leak

Hi mate, I had the same issue and it was very easy to fix. You need to remove the door card/trim to reveal the plastic sheet which is held on by black sticky gunk. This is the weather seal and my betting is the lower section has come away from the door allowing the water to pass on to that plastic trim and run into the foot well. it might only be a very small hole but water gets in every where. You will need some sort of heavy duty sealer to repair not silicone as it will only last a short time. Hope this is of some help. Cheers Andrew.

Looks like I need to do this too. I replaced the rear drivers side window regulator and afterwards noticed a wet floor after a very heavy rain. Has only happened once though.
