Help for my work?
Hey all...The company I work for sells starters and alternators. I am working on building an application guide and it would be helpful if you could tell me what alternator and/or starter are on your vehicle. The alternator on my X3 is easy to see, but haven't found the starter yet (haven't really looked either).
So if possible...can you tell me what company and part number are on your starter and alternator? It would help me out! Example...my 2012 X3 28i has a Denso Alternator #104210-6251. Thanks! |

i dont think many bmw owners are going to go start taking apart their engine covers and such just to find a number for you, when u cant do it yourself and its your job? also i think you might get a ban since u are trying to do some kind of businesss without being a site sponsor. just mho.

I am certainly not intending to sell something. I have not tried to sell anything here...nor was I going to. I just thought of people knew what they had (for example...my alternator number was right on top and easy to identify.)
I will take the post down if that's what people want, but again...I'm not trying to sell anything here. I haven't listed my company or how to buy from us (nor was I going to...end users are not my market). So if I should delete the post...that's fine...I'll do it. I can find the information elsewhere, just thought my community might want to help out if they could.

Thanks, I'll check out that site. looks like it has good information on it. (it appears to be a Bosch Starter...will know for sure tomorrow after looking up the BMW number...but it looks like it.)
Mine doesn't have a cover...we must have something different. No big deal...just figured it may be an easy check for some people. Thanks for the help.
