Winter wheel clarification

So here are the questions:

As I understand it you need a wheel that's designed specifically to carry a RFT with twin humps. Is this correct?

Does anyone know of an 18" wheel, with the right offset, that has twin humps, and is not a BMW wheel?

I'm concerned about the potential safety issue but I'm also not too keen on burning a shed load of money on buying wheels from BMW.

Any smart suggestions gratefully received!

I am using non RFT on standard rims, 17" in size. I plan to carry a mobility kit and a donut spare in the back during the winter.

good luck

To risky. We can get a lot of snow and it's my wife's car 99% of the time.
