Just picked up an X3 28i, great car but i am concerned the drivers seat is to soft in the butt, (i got oyster leather)
Anyone else experience this? Also, the dealer said i could bring this car back for one with the sport activity package that includes the sport seats...anyone have sport seats or has sit in both seats that can compare them? thx guys!

I have the oyster seats in the 28i and I don't think they are soft. The sports seats may be a little firmer but I know the sports seats hug you a little tighter. I had the sports seats in my 328i and I like them acept for the upper sides of the seat caused you to rub the seat as you got in and out and I could see that it was wearing. Just my opinon.

We drove 900 miles in a day (alternate drivers) and loved our seats, never felt a thing.
We did not get the sports seats as my wife found them to "enclosed". If you want soft try my 207 seats, 200 miles in that and you know it!

I'm a big guy and I have the sport seats. I find them comfortable and supportive. They are perhaps a bit firmer than the regular seats. I like them.

If there was one thing I would have changed about our X3 it would be the seats. We have the regular ones and wish we would have gotten sport seats. I keep an eye out at various junk yards in hopes of finding a used set of sport seats. I'd be willing to spend a decent amount to get them into our X3. Next BMW we purchase wil definitely have the sport seats or more likely the multi contour seats in the 5 series and X5s.
