I went after this too. Don't have the size info handy, but after lots of searching I can't find anything whiter or brighter. And I can't find another size that could be modded to fit. I put new ones in in case the old ones had yellowed, but no noticeable difference. Sigh.

In my 2013 the DRL's are W5W's, compatible with 194's also, I believe.
I got a pair of LED's to replace the standard bulbs, they were supposedly CANBUS but I still got the error messages. I even tried to shut off the voltage detection using Carly but still got the errors, just for the DRL's though. Shutting off voltage detection worked on all the other LED's I installed, just not the DRL's. I finally gave up and just put the regular bulbs back in and switched it to using the low beams as the DRL's using Carly. |

I'll give you one guess as to which DRL is the LED in that first pic.
This post has inspired me. I went ahead and put both LED's back in, dash warnings be damned. The low beams are from OPT7. |

Looks good! I’m guessing passenger side, lol. For the life of me I can’t see why BMW didn’t have Led/hid lights standard on all cars. Halogens are for rental cars!!!!
