White vice orageish glow gage lights
Is this a code issue or do the lamps (or filters) need to be changed? I like the daylight white color and would like the night color to be the same (dimmable).

You guys both need to buy a Ford then... that is one of their 'features'.

The color of the gauges is a physical issue, not a coding issue. The white daytime gauges are not lit up. What you are seeing is white paint illuminated by ambient lighting. The red that you see at night is from red LEDs, which turn on with the headlights. If there is sufficient ambient lighting then you may not see the red even if the headlights are on.

I hope they don't change the color of the night gauges. The red/orange is very easy on the eyes. Over long drives at night transition from road to vehicle info is easy.
