Add hard drive to non nav radio
Can you add a hard drive to the iradio in a non nav vehicle? I have it on my 335i with nav and it sure is nice. My wife was wondering if it can be added to her x3 since BMW radios only hold one disc at a time like in the old days.

I have a 30gb usb stick in the center console, but I have also tested it with my 500gb music drive and that worked fine.

You could in theory but it would be prohibitively expensive. If you have a USB slot in your armrest, simply plug in a 32 or 64GB USB stick and you have a solid state solution that is better than the HDD (which has moving parts) and with more capacity

From a Tech geek like I am, it is possible but it would require a lot of coding and programming to integrate to the car's CPU and to make the Nav Recognize it.
