Ordering X3 and need some help!
Ok, I've pretty much narrowed it down to:
2011 X3 xdrive35i space gray metallic black nevada leather tints (425cad) Premium pack My biggest problem is with the tires!!! In Montreal, all season tires are useless. By law you must use winter tires dec15-march15, and I'd like to get my own rims and 19" summer tires. They basically will buy back my brand new all seasons at 150/tire and then I can put my own winters on the stock rims and then get summer rims/tires. Anyone know of good winter tires to put on the stock rims, AND a suggestion for 19" rims/tires (prefer black rims) not fairly expensive for the summer? Thanks.. |

Tirerack has some good options: I have used the dunlops before and liked them a lot.

I've been very happy with Bridgestone LM-25's and LM-60"s, less so with various Pirelli's. Haven't tried the Dunlops or Michelin's lately. The "serious" guys always swear by Nokian Hakkapeltta's, but they are pricey. A set of 245/45-19 Bridgestones runs around US$892 while the Nokian's in the same size are US$1324. There are not many wheel choices if you want to stay with the BMW recommended "Run-Flat" rims, but more should be available by the Summer.

Do you think you will receive your car before March 15 !?!
Where did you order your car? At BMW Ste-Julie, I have to wait 3-4 months to get my X3... Last edited by haldol; 01-25-2011 at 08:43 PM.. |
