New 2014 X3 xdrive28i owner
My wife and I picked up a 2014 X3 38 version this evening. Pretty stoked as we are once again an all BMW family. Will be using the search function extensively to catch up to speed.

Oops -- I forgot those fast modifications still appear in my signature. They are on my dedicated race/autox Z3 that I've owned for many years. It will die with me or after me. I've been a fixture on other boards and occasionally post in the Z4 subforum here. Not intending to put the X3 down the rat hole. I can see getting a second set of wheels -- relegating the current set to dedicated winters, and a few small items but nothing major.
I will say that I nearly burst out in laugher when the finance manager tried to convince my wife the OE wheels cost $2000 a piece and it is $900 per axle for brakes. My response -- see honey, aren't you glad I do all the brake work at home.
