I have the same car but with the black roof bars. I have a quick question. My high gloss shadowline trim has piano black window trim. Between the front and rear doors these are a similar finish to the bodywork. However the similar trim on the rear doors around the small panel of glass appears to be a different finish. It's more like a satin semi gloss finish. On my previous E83 X3 these were high gloss the same all round.
Can you let me know what yours are like? I'm tempted to contact BMW to ask as the car is only about 6 weeks old and may want them to be changed if they are wrong. FYI they are consistently wrong, as both sides have the same "issue"
