It really depends
If both sets have the same valve system then yes
If you are putting an older set into the new TPMS system equipped car then you will get error messages each time you start up
I sucked up and bought a new set of valves for the s/h winter set I bought as they were off a 2013 car and I wanted to put them on a 2015 car with the newer system.
Not sure if you'd get errors the other way round though
