Hmmm.... could be a behavior of the new system. I have the previous generation iDrive/Nav in both current cars. Generally, if you use the voice command "stop guidance" it turns off navigation entirely. I'll check this out once I have my X3.
Does it only display the arrows in the info window, or is it also trying to guide you back using audible instructions?
