Well, you really can't expect the 4500lb SUV to outbrake a 3000lb sedan...
Accelerating and cornering surprises me though.

It's probably mostly due to the change from top rated Nokians to performance oriented Pirellis.

I switched from a 260hp fwd Acura CL-S on Kumho winters and I always had to feather the hell out of the clutch to get started on snow/ice and it'd oversteer if I hit the throttle mid corner.

I can't even trigger DSC on the X3 without being a little irresponsible
