Based on my understanding, dealers will get between 3-5 for "demo" model. They won't stock a lot at dealership. They prefer customers to order instead of taking from the lot. Many dealers are reluctant to sell their allocations. I've emailed about 5 dealerships and only 1 agreed to change one of their "already placed" order. Other dealers want me to place an customer allocation orders with the earliest delivery will be middle of January and can be as late as early March.
I want X3 before my wife goes back to work. Imagine 328i with a baby & 3 years old toddler ?
