I have no idea what is the average fuel consumption, but coming from a 2008 Infiniti G35x, the X3 35i is a lot more fuel efficient. On average, I had to fuel my G35x every 4 days (mixed driving). Now with the X3 35i, i only fueled up 3 times but so far, only needed to fuel it every 7 days (mixed driving). I am very impressed with the fuel consumption of my X3!!!
As well, the G35x gas tank was a lot bigger too at 76L as opposed to the X3's 68L!!! Yet one tank of gas with the X3 lasts a lot longer than that of the G35x!!!
