It is not a head-on competitor, since it is smaller (Q3), but it looks nice, and could take sales from X4.
I believe that for next gen X4, BMW needs to take out some weight and go hybrid. I also believe that most people can accept eAWD with electric rear drive. It is only hard-core US boating people who need massive towing - and I don`t think they buy an X4.
