Hard to believe that BMW doesn't have it standard yet. Even though it is standard in much cheaper cars.

Just for fun, I compared my car to the X5 (since an acquaintance of my sister just bought an used X5). The X5 started at $14,000 more but configured as much like mine as possible, only $9,000 more. Extra options as standard.

A reminder that the X3 is closer to the bottom of the line than the top. The X1 doesn't even offer some options I was willing to pay for, and wanted, so I went with it.
