I agree with all the above contributors. The sum of £525 is a fair price. I paid less, but you need to take into account the complete package price of the car including addons at time of purchase.

I have a friend who is a BMW manager and he always advises to take the service pack no matter what your mileage is going to be. Naturally the more miles you do the more cost effective it is for you.

I purchased the service pack for £395 when I purchased the car after it was released from the BMW management team at 11 months and 10k miles. It has now done 24k miles and is coming up to 3 years old. It has the major service and several other visits including brake fluid change and I was advised I was quids in compared to if I had paid separate service prices. Don't forget the garage already has the staff and the cost of spares are not full retail, so they benefit from the economy of scale so to speak.
