clonck - clonck, metal on metal, as if you leave a toolbox with hammers in the back, over bumps, over manhole covers, over anything that challenged the body's torsional rigidity. On some days it was less pronounced than on others, somtimes after closing the tailgate it wasn't there for a couple of minutes at all. |
