I have the M3 for speed & thrill, which is why I don't need the 35i. This vehicle for us is utility with some bmw drive dna built in.

Seems like the second generation is well received, I would not have even considered the first generation offering.

How is the fit, fitment and overall quality? I'll get a feel for that myself tomorrow when I'm at the dealer, but you guys have been driving it a while.

Glad to hear you've been trouble free - which is nice considering it's a brand new motor under the hood.
