Over the last year or two I have had iDrive reboot maybe a half dozen times. I usually notice it because the radio goes out, then I notice the screen is blank, the BMW logo shows up soon after on the screen and then things are back to normal within a couple of minutes. It remembers if I had the nav going and if I did it continues directing me to my location.
