I'm a little miffed the 335i is more expensive. Makes me feel like I bought a utilitarian {albeit expensive} work truck.
Yeah I know very shallow, but c'mon, I had a 3 series and I thought I was moving up with the x3.

Up? Down? Please! Think that there are people who drive a Veyron, or fly a Gulfstream, or have a $300M yacht. Ego definition via car prices is ... problematic. That one could spend multiple times on a car than one does on the X3 doesn't mean one has to do that. Just drive what suits your needs and what you like!
