I also have the Pirelli P7's RFTs on my 35i, I also had fun flats on my 335IX which were the legendary Bridgestone Tur*s Noisey, hard riding so I thew them away with half the tread left. I replaced them with Pirelli PZero Nero M+S runflats which are great - quiet good traction. I don't live in pot hole prone areas, we have frost heaves so tire sidewall failures have not been a problem.
