The car I just had on demo over the weekend had VDC. Switching to Sport mode certainly firmed things up and the car just became "tighter" overall. It handled more like a sport saloon with less of the roll and bounce you feel in normal mode. There was a section of the iDrive interface which seemed to let you choose config options but as I had no intention of getting VDC I left it alone. I only pressed Sport+ once and immediately reverted to Sport mode as it turned off some of the stability features.

My family definitely preferred the car in normal mode which is just as well but I can see that sport mode would be fun on country roads.
