My 35d has never shown how frugal she can be ... but that is probably more to do with how much I enjoy driving her.
Done 9,161 miles and used 1,569 litres (345 UK Gallons) at a total cost of £2,200 giving 5.8 miles/l or 26.6 mpg.
Despite my efforts, I can't do much worse than that ... I am pretty sure that if I stopped enjoying her quite so much I could probably do much better ...
... but I do have Service Inclusive Plus and want to make sure I use by brake allowance before I swap her for an LCI.
