Hows your panoramic roof? That's the only issue i'm having with mine... Idk if it's because of the stiff sport suspension or what not, but when i go over bumps, the rattle drives me nuts. No leaks, thank god, but with the amount the sunroof rattles, I'm afraid it will leak soon. Sounds like the seals are bad or what not. I have warranty until October, so I'll get it serviced soon.
As for the air intake boot, keep us posted. Your white Msport e83 looks great in your avatar!!
