To keep on this topic, is it fair to say that if you see the DDC buttons beside the shifter as per the image below, the vechicle is equipped with DDC?
Reason I ask is that that image is of a 2013 X3 with M-Sport Pkg and after checking it's VIN on the BMW VIN decoder (
http://www.rubmw.ru/vincode/eng/) there's no mention of DDC, however the buttons are there. Are those buttons indeed the DDC controls or standard on all X3s to activate something else?
