In Vermont a couple of weeks ago in only a few inches of snow, I thought the dealer-supplied Bridgestone Duelers on my X3 were weak in cornering and stopping. I'm getting them replaced with Michelin Primacy MXM4 this weekend. These are all-season "touring" tires, as opposed to all-season "highway."
I'll see over the coming months whether or not I want to buy an expensive set of designated winter tires -- depends a lot on the winter weather, I guess.
