Yuck. Typical elitist BMW driver. If someone opts for a good deal all of a sudden it's because they "can't afford" another option? No offense to others who don't think this way, but this is why BMW owners get such a bad rep from other drivers and enthusiasts. "Like a Honda" what a joke.

The ridiculous portion of your post aside, you're making a big assumption that a loaner is going to have any more or any less of a problem than a new car. Big assumption. Point is, on a lease you have no risk (if lease period ends within warranty), so in terms of the longevity of the car, even if it was abused in its early life, the effects later on will likely be well beyond your period of ownership. If the car ends up legitimately being problematic, that's why warranty/lemon laws exist, aside from the fact the dealer would likely be interested in making you whole another way.

But again, that's all based on the premise of a huge assumption that you will have more frequent issues over the life of the lease, which in and of itself is a complete and total fabrication based on nothing.
