Well thats news to me. The 30d engine in my F25 X3 has only a single turbo - maybe its different in Europe but I doubt it. Its the 35d engine that has the twin turbochargers.
Back to my original comment - I'm very pleased for our NA friends that they finally will be getting a wider range of diesels in their market but I think both these diesel engines are simply new to the NA market rather than being new engines to BMW worldwide.
