I'm intriged about this new 3.0l tiwn-scroll diesel. The quoted power and possible torque numbers (225 hp ; 400+ lb-ft) are fairly much the same as the existing 30d engine used in the F25 X3 (190 kW ; 560 Nm). So is this a totally new engine, or simply the first application of the 30d engine in the US market?
