I updated the SatNav on my car once from whatever was installed at the factory.
To be honest... the factory SatNav is terrible. I now rely on any one of the free google apps on my smart phone.
Quicker and more accurate.
Had I known how bad the BMW SatNav was I would have passed on the option at purchase.
