The initial 335i coupes were road tested at around 4.8s to 60. They were found to be around 340 bhp, possibly BMW said 306 bhp so as not to upset M3 buyers.....and the reality is that on the road they are faster than the M3, on the track the M3 wins out.
The X3 is heavier but it's also 4 wheel drive so depending on the current 35i engine maybe the figures are not that far out.
My E93 335i was VERY rapid, even with the vert added weight.
