The diesel X5 is very popular in the US, far more popular than BMW expected, so why no diesel X3? I wouldn't give up my 335i for a diesel, but in an SUV, I honestly wont buy a gasoline model if I could have a diesel, it just makes so much sense. Common BMW wake up already and stop rationing cars. I am keeping my RAV4 for another couple of years until there is a diesel alternative from Q5 or X3. If none of those materialize, I will consider the X5 diesel.  |
If the 30d or even the 20d were available here now, I'd have already put in an order, but as it stands I'm holding out to see what happens. It's very hard to be patient though, as I am very tempted by the 35i, but have not pulled the trigger on that as of yet.
