Thanks, I'll check out that site. looks like it has good information on it. (it appears to be a Bosch Starter...will know for sure tomorrow after looking up the BMW number...but it looks like it.)
Mine doesn't have a cover...we must have something different. No big deal...just figured it may be an easy check for some people.
