The I4 is NOT a hybrid engine. Still we will pay for gas. The Canadian BMW site states that the X1 with the I4 compared with the X3 I6, there is only a difference of 1 liter of gas per 100km. Yes you will save but less than a cup of coffee. Not really a huge savings. Just me...looking for the silver lining
