VMR says a 9 inch width is as wide as they would go. Unfortunately, they don't offer this size in the rims I've been looking at. They only offer 8.5 or 9.5 widths.
I would love to go 275/40R19 square; I was playing it safe on the front fitment. The two tires I mentioned above are nearly identical in size so I think the xDrive would be ok.
The best VMR recommends in the rims I like (V703 or V718) would be 19x8.5 ET40 or ET35 with 245/45R19. I could probably fit a 255/45R19, but the Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 isn't made in this size.
