I go to VT in the winter and I'll tell you, the Eagle LS tires just ain't that great in the snow. I never thought I'd consider 'dedicated' winter tires, but never say never.

Agreed my 13k Cheapyear LS-2 only have 6/32 left and a few weeks ago on a extremely hard down pour rain in the highway they were scary not the left lane, had to drive 10 under speed limit in the middle lane.
Now last week after having my DWS driving in different highways with rain coming down not as hard but very constant and since it was raining prior hours there was no dry areas. I was able to drive 60-75 in all lanes even passing through puddles my X3 w/ DWS felt like there was no rain.
