I am wondering what does she expect. If the part, supposedly modified, is provided by BMW then it is BMW that is supposed to do all the testing - not the customer. I find it quite inappropriate to ask the customer if the fix works or not - at least when it comes to this sort of failure.
Did they explain to you the nature of the fix they have implemented?
