The only thing I wish that BMW added as options to the X3 is Blind Spot Detection, Lane Departure Warning, and Ventilated Seats... but I guess you can't have everything.

I ordered Monday April 18th, it was in production the next day. The phone center says estimated completion date is April 27th. Not bad.

Post Delivery:

So the car was delivered in less than 2 weeks... very fast! So far I love the car, it rides very nice and the transmission is simply amazing. So far my only concerns are the following:

- The doors are difficult to close (to the satisfaction of the sensors at least)
- The gas mileage doesn't seem to be as good as claimed by BMW - but maybe this is part of the break in period
- The windows seem slow to go up and down
- The inner projector headlamp is fake... there is no light in it.
- The navigation bug is for real... if you get to your destination and don't turn off the car or start a new destination the car won't stop pointing you to your destination

What I love about the car:

- The transmission is fabulous
- The auto-hold feature is really convenient
- The top view feature is far more useful then I would of thought
