On a brighter note … a friend recently took delivery of a white Evoque and I saw it at the weekend … looks cool, but once I sat in it again, I was really happy I didn’t go for one. When, eventually, I get my X3 I am looking forward to doing an in-depth side by side comparison … sadly I think there are at a disadvantage, they didn’t get the Lux pack and that makes the car a bit dull on the toys side … although they do have the Dynamic with MagneRide.

Evoque's are as common as the brown stuff round here. X3's are far more exclusive (don't think I've seen one M-sport on the road yet) so I'm glad I went with the F25.
I dread to think what I'll be like the night before getting it. Last time I had a new car (Mini Cooper) I don't think I slept a wink.
Maybe a watch of the Nat Geo Megafactories will calm me down a bit
