RFT = Run Flat Tire

In general roads aren't that bad, but lately we have been getting more pot holes than I remember growing up.

The real issue are the run flat tires. They cost quite a bit more than normal tires and seem to be much more likely to get damaged.
To my knowledge BMW is the only company that doesn't offer any option to RFT's. You can install normal tires yourself but there's no place for a spare.
