A: It is not about the mirror, but about the coding. BMW in MY 2012 (?) and for sure in 2013 changed the sensitivity of the dimming. People complained a lot that they can't see anything, so BMW "fixed" it by going the other way
. It is fixable though by your friendly neighborhood BMW dealer.
