I hate creaky cars, gave up on the sunroof for piece if mind in my X4 for previous car after years of ownership can count the number of times on my two hands I opened it. A sunroof is like a Jacuzzi in your house, you wish for it, you rarely use and it gives you problems.
Used silicone spray to silence it though it didn't work all the time.
