Joining the club
Yesterday, I experienced the water pump failure sequence of events described multiple times in this thread.
The “good” news I have is that my 2012 X3 made it to 115,000 miles before this occured so I guess I should consider myself lucky.
About a month ago, I had to replace a very noisy front wheel bearing.
Other than these two failures (both beyond 110K), absolutely nothing has ever gone wrong with this vehicle. It’s the best vehicle I’ve ever owned, and it still runs and drives like it did when new.
