I am having these exact same two problems. The felt fix worked for a few weeks but now my panoramic creak is back. The left dashboard chirp/creak that is only present will the vehicle is in motion is very annoying. At first I thought it was the sound system but the creaking chirp remains when I turn the sound off. It's all very disappointing. A Mercedes GLC is likely in my future, it's only a question of when. I consider these two items and other build quality problems I've had to be unacceptable at this price point.

i have this problem, bit worse in the winter until i close the inner liner of the moonroof then I can't hear it. still would be nice for a quick fix. doesn't seem worthwhile to me to have BMW Service center tear the X3 apart for this creak and one other front left dash - very minor inconvenience that hasn't hurt my overall X3 experience...
