Tyre Wear
I own a 2.0d Sport X3. It has done 14,200 miles and the front nearside tyre already needs replacing. My local dealer says that this is within expectations, (14k to 20k) although towards the lower end, and they always wear the front nearside out first! It is only used for normal road use. I consider this to be excessive, but I cannot find any other statistics or manufacturers guidelines anywhere. Does anyone know what the wear should be, or is the dealer telling the truth?
