Hello everyone! I just bought a 2011 X3 35i, and this is my 1st post as a forum member. bikemanx3, I am currently going through the same consideration process for tires that you are.
Currently equipped are the factory 18's with P7's, and I plan to put dedicated snows on those wheels. I don't want a max performance summer tire, and haven't picked out wheels yet, so I'm trying to decide between: 18" or 19"; MXM4 ZP and RE960AS RF; uniform or staggered (if 19's).
On long highway drives, I love the cushy ride of the 18" factory setup, but I still want to throw it around like my old 3-series. Where to strike that balance? I genuinely look forward to your road trip report!
