This affects BUILD date, not order date. If you order in the UK tomorrow, your car will 99.9% likely be built after 1st April (and likely much later), thus you will have a new model year car and be affected by the changes. They are all positive, there is nothing to worry about.

Not yet announced but I would guess unlikely. We have a particular love for diesels (especially in SUVs) in this country.
